ABOUT THE ABAMS
The Asian Business Association of Mississippi (ABAMS) exists to help promote Asian businesses in the state of Mississippi and to create a cooperative environment for better developmental conditions for Asian business people in the state.
If you are interested in joining the association, please contact us. All interested parties are welcome to join us. Together, let’s promote the development and prosperity of the Asian community in Mississippi.
OUR PURPOSE
• Strengthen communication with the state, city government, and business community, reflecting the wishes and requirements of Asian businessmen and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of ABAMS members. Represent ABAMS members in matters of economic and business affairs with the government and the business community, and strive for the interests of members.
• Promote the creation and conduct of Mississippi-based Asian business activities in the United States.
• Provide information, exchange experiences, and share resources with ABAMS members through various channels and methods; such as, websites, publications, lectures, seminars, and business visits.
• Represent Mississippi’s Asian business population through economic, technical, and cultural exchange activities to help strengthen cooperation between the United States and Asia as well as other regions.
• Provide a platform for socialization and cooperation among members.
• Provide information about business, policies, laws, regulations, and other business related guidance. Help members explore the Asian market and assist in solving problems encountered in the development of the Asian market.

Association membership is free of charge to all interested parties and provides:
• Social engagement with a local community,
• Access to a network of established, Asian business owners who can share expertise and resources for growth,

• Access to pertinent information regarding opening, owning and operating new businesses in Mississippi and the surrounding region,
• Invitations to association events designed to inform, assist, and facilitate a community of cooperative businesses.
